And now onto what we’ve all be patiently waiting for and my fave part Q&A time 🙂

GLH: Nana, it’s a real pleasure having you visit today and an enormous congrats on the release of your debut romance. Right then, of all the books you’ve written, which character do you relate to the most?

NP: I relate most with the heroine from the first romance novel I ever wrote, which will never see the light of day. I kind of patterned this heroine after myself. Needless to say that I LOVED her.

GLH: I would love to read that one 🙂 What made you write a book about past lives?

NP: I went to a psychic years ago and she told me I had lived about 300 lives. I scoffed, but it made an impression on me. Years later I decided to write a romance about how past lives can have an influence on a person’s current life and relationships.

GLH: Aah, that sounds intriguing. What’s your favorite line from LTT?

NP: The heroine, Jasmine has shocked the crap out of the hero, Sean with her fighting skills. Earlier in their lives Jasmine’s brother had been afraid of her ferociousness when she fights, but her sister, Carly, never was. When Jasmine asks her sister why she’d never had a fear about her violent side, Carly says, “I’ve always known you.” Carly doesn’t realize it, but she’s known Jasmine in more than one life. I think this line is awesomely poignant.

GLH: I like that. Nice. What do you do when your muse decides to play hide?

NP: I have been blessed with a great muse who never hides. She may rest for a short while, but I have no difficulty waking her up.

GLH: You are lucky. Mine’s called, Dammit, guess you know why 🙂  Moving on. When a story doesn’t work the way you want it to after it’s written, do you trash it, or set it aside for a look later?

NP: I set it aside and let it marinate. Distance makes the heart grow fonder they say, so we take a break from each other. When I go back to look at it, it’s from a fresher perspective. If it still looks bad, then I have to let it move on to fiction heaven.

GLH:  You’re a riot, Nana 😀 What was your first publishing experience like?

NP: Having Love Through Time published was my first experience and it’s been wonderful. Black Opal Books has been extremely supportive throughout the process and I’m actually having fun doing something that can sometimes give a person an ulcer.

That was fun, and now for the quickies…

Fave time of the day…  Evening between 6pm and 10pm, work is finished and the time is completely mine.

Fave drink… Coke, I could drink it all day, but I don’t. It doesn’t even have to be mixed with rum, but the alcohol makes it better.

I hate dealing with… ignorant people

I adore being with… the people I love.

And my fave romance author is: This is not an answerable question for me. I have too many to name just one, especially with all the great new books coming out

GHL: Thanks Nana for taking time off from your busy schedule, and for the great heart to heart. Enjoyed that–no, no cannibal tendencies, I promise 🙂 just our time together.

NP: LOL. Thank you so much for hosting me on your blog today, Georgia. I’m a huge fan of your work, and am in a little bit of author awe today. Let me take this moment to harass you about the sequel to Absolute Surrender, get it out already!

GHL: Aww shucks, Nana, those are really kind words. Okay, I hear you 🙂  Am working on the next book. It’s about halfway done, Blaéz is one tough guy to write. But I promise, you won’t be disappointed with his story…I hope 🙂

Title: Love Through Time

Genre: Paranormal romanceScreen Shot 2013-09-09 at 7.43.11 PM

Heat level: Sweet

Blurb:

Defending her family – no problem. Recalling past lives – maybe just a small problem. Taking a chance on love again – well…

Jasmine Gibson has her world turned upside down when she meets gorgeous Sean Taylor. He’s the first man she’s been attracted to since her fiancé dumped her two years ago. But when the disturbing daydreams start, Jasmine begins to fear that her actions in a past life may have finally caught up with her.

Sean finds it impossible to stay away from Jasmine even though he can’t shake the inexplicable feeling of betrayal, simmering deep inside him every time he sees her.

To complicate things, someone is out to hurt Jasmine and every time she and Sean are together, the police have to be called. Even if Jasmine can make Sean trust her, the two of them may not stay alive long enough to enjoy their love this time around.

Excerpt:

She was coming to terms about their past lives, but he was having trouble just dealing with her in this one.

“I must have been a great man in previous life,” Sean said jokingly, but Jasmine’s expression turned serious as she held onto the doorpost. “Are you all right? Are you getting lightheaded?”

“No, I’m fine.”

But he could tell something was bothering her. “Now you’re holding something back from me.”

“Do you believe in past lives?”

“I haven’t thought about it. I’ve seen so much in my travels around the world that I wouldn’t be surprised if it existed. Do you?”

“I think it might exist, and the thought about coming back and making your soul better is very appealing. At the same time it could be painful, especially if you hurt someone else in a past life and met them again in another.

Sean felt a chill go up his spine. He knew there was something more to this conversation, but he couldn’t pin point it. He wanted to stay and talk with her about it, but he had to get back to studying.

He leaned down and kissed her cheek. It was nothing but a friendly kiss, but he felt the shock of it straight down to the soles of his feet. Jasmine looked just as affected as he was.

 Intrigued?
