Yup! I’m on a rail-track, heading down, super fast for a crash landing, and I can’t seem to stop… this month is going to be one helluva a nerve-wrecking and frazzled one as 23rd March 2013 approaches.
And no, it’s not the release, its the getting there 🙁
I wonder if I’ll find myself in time to enjoy it.
Why you wonder? Alrighty then, let me see: My second manuscript’s all ready and with request for fulls, I’m about to send off, had a final look and what do you know, Word, that wonderful little creation we writers can’t live without, changes my heroine’s name to Jesus. (I wonder if it’s trying to tell me something?) Okay, not so bad, can change all back, right? NO!!!
As if that wasn’t bad enough, it changed my hero’s name and that of a secondary character in other places. So it was Jesus talking to Jesus and holding Jesus. It’s a real mess!
Word and I are on the warpath, because ‘Find and Replace’ decides to quit, take a holiday. Argh! Technology– Evil!
So now the malicious fiend has been deleted– destroyed, kicked out my laptop and reinstalled, and this is supposed to be the latest in Word.
*note to self* get more band-aids for cuticles and Ibrufen for the raging headache…
need to find my calm place..deep breaths... 
Now off to read Darkness Undone, see all the names are corrected. and hopefully I can send that off, and get my life back on track 🙂

Hey Lyn, don’t you worry. All will be good, and it will be good in good time.
Getting to your release should be the most exciting time in your writer life…okay, totally after getting the first fan email, that is. 😉 DU is a brilliant story, and those who requested the full will be fine to wait until you fixed all the screw ups by Jesus’ hands. Wow, maybe it is a sign after all. Things will turn out just right if you lean back and let them flow.
But to avoid more such “things”, be sure to have at least two back up copies of your books at the end of each day. I have them saved on an external drive and occasionally I send them to myself on email. Saved my butt several times in the past…And now, ENJOY! Whatever.

Aww, thanks Piper, you’re always the calm in my storm. I just hope this all ends well. I’ve learned to back-up on my external device, but sometimes I forget 🙁 anyway, I’m slowly getting there.
